Swift Aircraft Management (SAM) announced it has achieved the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO) Stage 2 registration.
The International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations, developed by the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) and its member associations, is a recommended code of best practices designed to help flight operations all over the world achieve high levels of safety and professionalism in their operations. Stage 2 is achieved when the operator’s Safety Management System (SMS) has been documented, approved and resourced, and implemented at the time of the audit.
“We are very proud of this accomplishment and it is a testament to our team’s commitment to safety and their ability to work together to establish a strong safety culture for our operation” commented Tony Jobusch, Director of Safety. “It’s a big deal to be recommended for the Stage 2 IS-BAO – and SAM did it!” Tony further added – “Our leadership and employees continually promote an environment where every team member contributes to the success and improvement of our Safety Management System. “IS-BAO is a voluntary standard of best practices and we chose to pursue this feat to demonstrate our dedication to safety and professionalism to our Swift Aircraft Management clients and colleagues.”
“This latest achievement is the result of our unrelenting focus on safety and reiterates the safety commitment Swift Aircraft Management has toward our charter customers, top celebrities and VIP clients – yours and ours!” stated Bonny Phillips, Charter/Sales Manager.
